Up your game with ServiceNow Certification
Are you a ServiceNow administrator? Have you considered gaining the ServiceNow Certified System Administration Certificate?
If you’ve been operating ServiceNow for six months or more, it’s really worth considering taking the exam. Not only does this formalise your knowledge and skills with a certification, but it also makes you more attractive to your employer and future employers. They’ll know you’re dedicated to your work and that you care about your Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
By achieving ServiceNow System Administration Certification, you’re proving that you have the necessary skills and knowledge to configure, implement and maintain the ServiceNow system. The certificate also enables you to move onto the next stage as an Implementation Specialist, if you so wish.

Minimum requirements for sitting the exam:
- Industry experience with database concepts and systems management
- Some knowledge of IT Help Desk processes and incident, problem and change workflows is helpful
- A minimum of 3-6 months hands on experience maintaining and using ServiceNow is recommended.
Online exam
To take the ServiceNow Certificate online, you’ll need:
- A standalone webcam (not one integrated into your computer or laptop)
- A Windows-based PC running either Internet Explorer or Google Chrome
Training course
While undertaking a ServiceNow course before sitting the exam is not obligatory, courses are available should you wish to take one. The Certificate is mapped to the three-day ServiceNow System Administration training course, where you participate in real world exercises, in a safe sandbox environment.
